English with me

Hey! My name is Daryna, and, surprisingly, I am an English teacher. My story began while I was learning English myself and hated every second of it. Moreover, I remember swearing to myself that I would become anyone but a teacher of the English language. 😉
I did fall in love with English when I got older because of American rock, videogames, and people I met from the USA. I entered a university to study English, hoping to become a translator one day. Having been taught by real professionals and passionate educators, I started to suspect that teaching can actually be enjoyable. I still worked as a translator, which I didn't like as much as I expected, did some copywriting and then eventually found myself in a classrom! I have been doing it for almost 7 years now, and I love it! What I value the most is the opportunity to meet so many great people on my way and help them learn! I am also into studying, so I frequently enroll in some courses (some of them turned out to be quite odd, I must admit), read a lot, attend webinars, and accept challanges to expand my comfort zone a little.
